There various reasons as to why kids drop out of schools most of them in these communities are financially related, others are peer pressure some times pregnancies. ECSI helps provide the scholastic materials like books, pens pencils mathematical sets for these children to go back to schools , partnering with different schools to make sure this is a success.
We work with schools, health centers and local Community based organisations to see how best to deliver this sensitive yet important kind of knowledge to the people in different communities.
It is commonly said that disability is not inability which in most cases is not true and we are here to bridge the gap and have our brothers and sisters have space and blend in without discrimination by acquiring them with skills like soap and candle making, shoe repairing and many more.
With this program we are looking out for teen mothers and youths especially after the skill training and empowerment in vocational skills like tailoring ,shoe making and repair, cloth making and saving in groups.
With lots of unwanted pregnancies, mortality as a result of HIV and abandonment children in most cases are always left to pay the price that they did chose to participate in. ECSI fundraises to offer education and place to live for the young star future generations.
There are environmental issues like mud slides endless drought that are beyond human control. We provide them with day today necessities like food , clothes medical care among other emergency responses
